Dental Software
Being the son to a dentist does have its advantages but it also have their own disadvantages. Don’t get me wrong I like that my pops really is a dentist but at times he'll often be a little extreme with regards to what foods I'm able to or cannot eat. I have got very strong healthy teeth and I also give each of the credit to my dad because he makes me floss and brush every day. He even has me help him as dental assistant. I'm still deciding if dentistry is the thing that I want to study at school, but for now I am just learning while I go. I usually to stay once the office is closed and I also can clean the dental software and equipment. I don’t mind doing that but I feel as if I should have more responsibilities than only cleaning. So I asked my dad what I could do more for work and he told me I could seriously help him order new dental software.
The computer software that my dad wanted to get was for his front business office. He required a program or software that will enable him to schedule and manage accounts, insurance, recalls and potential client information. He informed me that he has had some really tough software before where it was hard to fully grasp and navigate through and that’s why he would need to upgrade and find out more about new software. I basically didn't know what things to even search for and so I sort of just shadowed my father and helped him with whatever he needed assistance with. He called up some people and he knows other dentists that he’s pretty good friends with and he asked them what they are using for their dental office software. He received some really good tips and feedback.

My father informed me to get onto an online site that offered dental computer software. He provided the URL so I did what he asked and got onto the website then he said to put in writing there number and so I managed it and gave him the telephone number. He said that he would give them a call to find out what types of dental software package that they had as well as to find out if they would certainly be a good fit for by dad’s organization. Something that I learned from watching my dad being a dentist is always that he’s always looking for ways to improve his patients experience every time they visit the dentist. He always tries to transform it into a far better experience than they had before.
He ultimately got his completely new dental software program for his office. Now I’m still stuck maintaining the dental equipment and machines but that’s alright with me so long as I have a job that pays big money. Also after helping my pops find this company and him presenting me the rules I believe that being a dentist would be something that I would like to do. I'm sure I'd be happy at becoming a dentist as my career.
