Dude Ranch
It can be so difficult to get a new job sometimes. I have been trying to find a job for the past 8 months and it's been probably the most frustrating experience of my entire life. Due to one of my buddies I obtained a job opportunity working in a dude ranch. To be totally honest I asked my friend what is a dude ranch? He explained that it’s a place where young adults or families can visit to live like a cowboy. It’s just like an old western vacation. The work which I was offered was to help take care of the horses. I own a handful of my own personal horses and so I am educated concerning how to maintain and take good care of horses. I bet that’s why I managed to get this career because I didn’t even have to submit my resume`. I started this task and it was so much fun. Being on a dude ranch is really a feeling I can’t really clarify. You need to experience this for yourself and see what I am preaching about.
The summer passed so fast and I had to leave my job to return to school. It was actually very difficult for me to leave. I never really experienced a job that I appreciated and loved. There wasn’t a day where I didn’t desire to go to work. I had been able to get great deals for dude ranch vacations for my family and relatives. A few of my cousins have actually been to several dude ranches and so they said that not one of the other dude ranches can compare to the one that I worked for. I agreed with these people. I truly don’t believe there's another ranch in existence that comes even close to the quality of service and activities they offer.
The most important thing I am going to miss the most is being with all the horses. If you've ever trained horses you'll learn that you create a relationship with them and they also learn to trust you and you believe in them. Horses are an amazing animal and are also so beautiful and elegant in the manner they carry themselves. This is a family dude ranch so these horses are tamed and never wild. They are very good with children and older adults. I'm certainly just going to miss being around them every single day and taking good care of them.
If you're thinking about going to a dude ranch I would highly recommend that you do go. It is going to be one of the best experiences of your life. I'm serious when I say that there will not be a dull moment within your time there. You have got several options to choose from. If I were you I would get right on the horseback riding hobby. However, you can pick among fishing, horseback riding, swimming, tubing, hiking and many more activities. I really hope that I'll be in a position to work at this dude ranch next summer.
